My new book is really really good, I have seen the movie but the book gives allot of details that weren't explained in the movie. This books details are so thorough that I can picture my self in the characters shoes perfectly. sometimes the book gives me goose bumps on how gruesome it is. The author gives the reader little details that are very important. This book is part of the Stephen King series and I feel like this is my new favorite author, I hope to read all his book and Finnish this one.

Cujo
My new book is Cujo by Stephen King. So far I have read to page 142, this book has actually given me nightmares compared to the movie. The book is mainly about a friendly dog that ends u sticking his nose into a cave and turns into a man eater. He is on a killing rage, killing anything that gets in his way or that just plainly annoys him. His name is Cujo, he live on a farm in Maine. Then theres a little boy who keeps seeing this object in his closet at night. Something thats unexplainable to him, his closet door always slams open and he sees these big red eyes. He tells his parents but they don't believe him, this could be a second danger for the little city of Maine. Cujo has killed his owners friend already and his owner. His killing rage has just started.
"Would We Be Killed"
In the Article the Native Americans were marginalized by getting pulled from there homes without permission from there parents. The text said "Soon parents weren't asked to enroll there kid they were forced." This sentence told me that the whites were pushing indians away and doing things the way they wanted. They were taken away by force from there family's and tribes. They felt they didn't exist anymore after the white people erased there roots. "kill the Indian" explained how the whites tried to change the Indian into a sophisticated person. Shorter hair, Better clothes and they were taught how to live a life of a white person, cleaning, making things etc.
The purpose of Shanice Britton's essay was to show the reader that just because she's Native American doesn't make her any different from any other person. She tells the reader about how she doesn't know allot from her ancestors but that she's learning as much as she can. She fells that since she's native american other people are going to think of her different, for example what she does at home or with her friends. Shanice does everything a normal teenage girl does. She wants the reader that she still does things her native americans do but she also does the normal. In the text it said "she participates in tribe ceremonies" This tells me that she still likes doing what her parents taught her but then the ext said "She's following her dream of becoming a vet" This told me that she also wants to follow her carer dream which is normal and wasn't expected by native americans back then.

Backlash. 3
In conclusion to my book everything has gone back to normal but not completely. Bree is now the highlight in school. "The one that couldn't keep her mouth shut and stayed in her own business." said Sydney. Lara's doing good now, she's just a normal girl that keeps her problems to her self because of what happened. She now is living the happy life like a normal girl in high school. Her sister Sydney is is now in shock because of her sister, "She actually apologized to me..." she said. Remember how in the beginning of the book when Laura was in the hospital and Sydney had to talk to the officer. Well Sydney argued about how she was always put aside when it came to Laura. Bree is now the gossip of school, she is what is talked about "omg did you see what she started" "wow how lower can you go"
Now that I finished this book I recommend it to my peers, and teachers for there students because its a book that explains about bullying. It can help many students prevent bullying and not follow along when someone else does. This book was a piece of "anti bullying" Now that I finished the book I have to do a project, and I am really going to enjoy showing my project to my peers because it would give them a second thought on bullying. "think before you speak" Said Laura.

Tolerance
Tolerance: | 'täl(e)rens |
The ability or willingness to allow the existence, occurrences, or practice of something in particular the existence of opinions or behavior that one does not necessarily agree with.
Tolerance is not the same for everyone, but for me it means the amount you can handle something. To tolerate someone is to understand and handle them, many people can control there tolerance others can. I have very little tolerance for incompletion, others for annoyance ext. everyone has different perspectives of the word.

Backlash - 2
Laura survived the overdoes at the hospital. The police officer wanted to check and get some back history on Laura so she asked her sister. Sydney agreed and told the officer everything from when she was 8 to today. She asked about her friends, thats when Sydney chuckled. In the text it said "Laura does not have many friends because of her "depression" Sydney Said" This caught my eye because of how the author put depression in parenthesis. I kept reading and the officer asked Sydney "why did you say depression with a smirk?" Sydney said, "Because its obvious Laura's life is perfect she just wants attention, she thinks having depression makes you popular. Mean wile online, Bree picture got more than 50 likes on face book. Lots of people were sharing it on there timelines, even Criss. The comments were really bogus in my perspective. For example in the text it said "The comments were kin dove harsh Bree Said.. "RIP Lardo" "Corpse Girl""She Looks Dead""Is Lardasouraus Dead?" This part of the chapter told me that Bree was starting to feel bad for posting the picture. But she was not able to delete it, what ever goes on the internet stays on the internet.
This chapter really gave me that big message, "what ever goes on the internet stays on the internet" This situation gave me second thoughts about saying things about people, honestly I think theres no point in bulling it just causes problems. This chapter was allot about bulling, and I think in this situation its cyber bullying. I would hate to be in Lara's shoes right now because she just calmed down from her problem with Criss and when she goes on Facebook.. Bree is going to come up more in the book I think because of the picture that started everything.

Backlash
My new book that I started for this quarter is called "Backlash". I started reading last week and i'm so into the book. It relates a lot to me because of they text it uses, and the authors 1st person perspective pieces. So a girl named Lara who is the main character so far has a relationship with this guy named Criss. One day Criss post status on Facebook about Lara and how he hated her and other mean things. For example "your fat no one wants you here, your the meanest person i've ever meet, your ugly" Simple things like that but they hurt Lara because they came from him. People saw the statuses and started blackmailing and hating Lara. Lara was having suicidal decisions, but her family didn't know until one day. Her sister Sydney wanted to go to the bathroom but Lara was in there for a long time already. Sydney was frustrated until she realized no one was moving in the bathroom. She called her mom, they called the police and her dad. Lara had overdosed on medicine. They took her to the hospital but when she was in the bed for the ambulance a girl named Bree took a picture of Lara and posted it on Facebook. Everyone was commenting and liking ext. Thats when all the rumors started.
So far this book has been very good, I have not wanted to let it down and stop reading it of how good. The book really relates to many situations that are occurring right no in our era of time. This story has a really good message and thats to not spread rumors if they don't involve you. The book so far has already told me a lot and i'm barley at the 5 chapter. Everything escalated very quick from the drama to the rumors. That sounds a lot like middle school to me. I really feel bad for Lara because this is not the first time she's been bullied its happened too times. I just want to find out what happens this time.

Call Of The Wild. End
In the end after everything buck and John Thornton become part of a indian pride. Not as much as part, they were kidnapped but Buck escaped. Buck needed to the about how he was going to save his friend if he was trapped by so many. Buck was walking threw the dark woods thinking of ideas. Day after day Buck was changing due to him living in the woods. His coat color turned black, he had the taste for meat. He was stronger, all good changes for Buck. Buck hears a howl, from far away deep in the woods. It was the call of the wild, this call made him feel superior inside. He replied to the call, then he went to the tribes living area were he let the demons out of him. In the text it said "They were dancing in circles happy as can be when you see a dark giant dog jump from the bush. He leaps on the leader and slots his throat. One by on the al die the same, Buck pouncing on every single one killing them instantly. " This told me the Buck was pretty mad, he decided to kill the tribe instead of run them off. As Buck sniffed around he found John Thornton laying on a bed already dead. It was to late he had all ready been sacrificed. Bucks new friend and saver is a memory in his heart.
This last chapter was jaw drooping for me, the way the author wrote this section made you feel the anxiety or the fear of actually being there during this. This story was really interesting, from the beginning of the book I wasn't really into it but towards the end I enjoyed it. The suspense was also when a pac of wolves came to camp and tried killing Buck. In the text it said "Out of the shadows there was a wolf, and then another and so on. Until a hole pack of wolves emerged from the woods, Buck was terrified. One by one they jumped on Buck but Buck killing ever single one. Buck wins." He begins to become the lone wolf but then when winter comes he becomes the leader of the pack. This story is very outstanding I cant wait to do the project on it.
