In the end after everything buck and John Thornton become part of a indian pride. Not as much as part, they were kidnapped but Buck escaped. Buck needed to the about how he was going to save his friend if he was trapped by so many. Buck was walking threw the dark woods thinking of ideas. Day after day Buck was changing due to him living in the woods. His coat color turned black, he had the taste for meat. He was stronger, all good changes for Buck. Buck hears a howl, from far away deep in the woods. It was the call of the wild, this call made him feel superior inside. He replied to the call, then he went to the tribes living area were he let the demons out of him. In the text it said "They were dancing in circles happy as can be when you see a dark giant dog jump from the bush. He leaps on the leader and slots his throat. One by on the al die the same, Buck pouncing on every single one killing them instantly. " This told me the Buck was pretty mad, he decided to kill the tribe instead of run them off. As Buck sniffed around he found John Thornton laying on a bed already dead. It was to late he had all ready been sacrificed. Bucks new friend and saver is a memory in his heart.
This last chapter was jaw drooping for me, the way the author wrote this section made you feel the anxiety or the fear of actually being there during this. This story was really interesting, from the beginning of the book I wasn't really into it but towards the end I enjoyed it. The suspense was also when a pac of wolves came to camp and tried killing Buck. In the text it said "Out of the shadows there was a wolf, and then another and so on. Until a hole pack of wolves emerged from the woods, Buck was terrified. One by one they jumped on Buck but Buck killing ever single one. Buck wins." He begins to become the lone wolf but then when winter comes he becomes the leader of the pack. This story is very outstanding I cant wait to do the project on it.
